Youth Development, Capacity : Ms Akwa Ibom USA Seeks NUJ Partnership


In her avowed bid and commitment to play a vital role in the turning out of well rounded youths who are properly positioned to served as 21st century leaders, Ms. Akwa Ibom USA, Essie Ndem has sought the partnership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council.
Ms Ndem while on a courtesy call on the State Chairman of NUJ, Elder Patrick Albert over the weekend said that her vision for the youths of Akwa Ibom State is to have leaders who are prepared to take the State into the 21st century adding that her initiative is centered on early investment, using academic and skill based competitions to encourage, inspire, and empower the youth through competitions that will enable the youth identify, set, and achieve career goals.
In his response the State chairman of the Nigeria union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State, Elder Patrick Albert congratulated Miss Akwa Ibom USA, Miss Essie Ndem on what he described as people oriented programmes.
Elder Albert, assured Miss Akwa Ibom USA of the support and collaboration of the media community in the State ahead of her planed charity and humanitarian services in the State.
He urged Miss Ndem to continue with the good work she was doing as well project Akwa Ibom State in good light for those resident in the diaspora to know the opportunities that abound in Akwa Ibom State.
