Ahead of the December 2nd Local government council polls, Party faithful have been tasked to unite, join forces and work earnestly towards the success of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) and desist from all forms of acts that would work negatively against its candidates.
This advise was handed down yesterday by the member representing Abak/Etim Ekpo/Ika in the House of Representatives, Mr. Emman Ekon during the PDP Local Government and Councillorship campaign flag-off in Abak ahead of the December 2nd elections.

The five star Parliamentarian reiterated for the umpteenth time that the PDP remains the party to beat in Abak, Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria at large.
He used the occasion which witnessed a mammoth turnout of PDP faithful to advise that they should refrain from blackmail and pull down syndrome as the Party marches ahead to victory.
“I hereby appeal to PDP members to eschew every form of bickering and divisive rhetoric during the campaign and the elections for our party to enjoy a landslide victory”.
In his remarks, the State PDP Chairman, Obong Paul Ekpo while expressing his appreciation for the large turn out described the PDP as the Party to beat in the State, adding that there was no opposition in Akwa Ibom as those who before today were in opposition had turned a new leaf and joined the largest and accommodating Party, the PDP.
He called on Party faithful to be steadfast as the Party has put in machinery in place to reward loyal members while assuring that the State under the dynamic administration of Mr. Udom Emmanuel is poised to continue to deliver the dividends of democracy to his people.
