Gov’s Aide Dedicates Child,Fetes the Sick

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Traders Matters; Akparawa Idorenyin Raphael yesterday Sunday dedicated his Child, Mfonabasi, at Full Life Christian Center and later visited the sick with gifts at the God is Able Clinic, Ikot Mbang, Ibiono L.G.A

Preaching during the Church service on the theme ” The Weapon of Testimony” Pastor Osanhon said that Christians should note that there is no weapon that can be used to sustain the relationship with God than the weapon of testimony, stressing that with this, the divine relationship will sure remain firm, because, by constantly testifying about the good works of God, God is moved to do more.

Pst Mrs Ukamaka Ntia who performed the dedication rite, charged the parent to bring up the newly dedicated child with the fear of God and remain prayerful, while committing the child into Gods divine and mighty hand in prayer.

In his remarks during the presentation of the gift items to the Sick, Mr Raphael expressed his gratitude to God for the immeasurable blessings and favour upon him and his family, adding that it was in showing appreciation to God that he chose to come and dine with the sick who he said require assistance from us just as God has been assisting us when we need his assistance.

Akparawa Idorenyin used the opportunity to preach the gospel of faithfulness, hope and healing to them while sharing his life touching experiences, maintaining that it is only in being faithful to God that the hope of being healed will be made manifest in their lives. His words, ” your condition today cannot determine your future, so remain ever faithful to God for he will extend his healing hands upon you and you will be healed”.

He prayed for quick and complete recovery of all the patients, advising them to continue to Trust in God for he will do exceedingly great things for them.

He also used the medium to thank theState Governor,Mr Udom Emmanuel for deeming him fit to serve the people in this capacity, promising to do more for the sick and the needy when duty calls.

In attendance were his family members, other Aides to the Governor, Church members, friends and well-wishers.
