Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Charles Udoh has again donated Jerseys to another football team in Uyo as part of his contribution towards boosting football and sporting activities generally in the state.
This time, the Info Boss largesse was extended to the University of Uyo football team as a fulfilment of the promise he made to the team towards encouraging the members to higher performance.
Charles Udoh, himself an alumnus of the University of Uyo while presenting the Jerseys advised members of the team to remain discipline and focused, noting that no Star emerges without discipline and constant training.
The Commissioner emphasised that with the provision of the state- of -the- art sports facilities in the state by Governor udom Emmanuel led administration, up coming athletes are guaranteed adequate and proper exposure which will enable them compete favourable with their western counterparts.
It could be recalled that as a former football player himself, the Information Commissioner, Udoh, has been in the practice of extending jerseys and support to football teams as a measure aimed at encouraging budding footballers in the state.
Earlier on, Charles Udoh had presented jerseys and other logistics support to Akwa United Football Club prior to the team’s emergence as the winner of the AITEO Cup.
